Einherjar’s Folk Kindred Official Holiday Calender
Day of Remembrance for Raud the Strong
January 9th
Raud was a land owner in Norway who was put to death by Olaf Tryggvason (the xtian criminal) for his loyalty to his ancestral faith of Odinism by having a snake forced down his throat. His lands were of course confiscated (stolen) in the name of the king and his monks. Raise a horn in honour of Raud and all of his kinsmen who gave their lives rather than submit to the enforced ''love'' of the empire of the slave death cult from the Middle East'...
THORRABLOT
15th January
This holiday begins the old Norse month of Snorri. It is still observed in Iceland with parties and a mid-winter feast. It is of course sacred to Thor, and the ancient Icelandic Winter spirit, Thorri. On this day we should perform a blot to Thor and invite the mighty Asaman to the Feast.
CHARMING OF THE PLOUGH
17th January
Charming of the Plough (Main Blot for the Month)
The first of our formal (major monthly) blots for the new year is Charming of the Plough.
Land is largely unproductive for food until it has been ploughed - made ready. It is fitting that at the start of a New Year we understand that for that year to be "fruitful" we must make preparation. To be productive life contains an element of compulsion, where rebellion and protest have no place.
Human life needs discipline if the harvest of our body and spirit is to be a good one. As we are interdependent with nature, so a "civilised" society is also dependent on a variety of "trades and labour" to function.
At the blot we hail the men and women whose skills enable us to maintain our existence. We are also reminded of the continuity of life - a new year born.
At this ritual we "return the Corn Mother" (placed on the altar at Winter Finding). In the past it would have been ploughed back into the Earth. Today it is presented to a young person during the Blot - a reminder that the future of our Folk DEPENDS upon our young people and their discipline and fruitfulness. It is not the starting but the continuing that is really important and gives success...
BARRI
2nd February
This is the day we celebrate the wooing by Frey of the maiden Gerd, a symbolic marriage of the God of Fertility with the Mother Earth. It is a festival of fertility, of the planted seed and the ploughed furrow. For those of you in the Northern Hemisphere - in the Odal lands - THIS is a great time to plant seed indoors to later be transplanted into the Summer Garden.
Day of Remembrance for Eyvind Kinnrifi
9th February
Today we honour yet ANOTHER martyr of our faith murdered by the christians...
Olaf tortured him to death by placing a bowl of red-hot embers on his stomach until his body burst open. Eyvind's 'crime' was steadfast LOYALTY - LOYALTY UNTO DEATH - to OUR GODS and our Sacred Ancestors...
LET HIS LIFE - AND HIS DEATH - BE AN EXAMPLE TO US ALL...
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail!
Hail Eyvind! You are NOT forgotten!
FEAST OF VALI (Festival of the Family) (Main Blot for the month)
14th February
This is the main blot for the month...
This festival is named after Vali, a son of Odin and defender of the family. He symbolises the new light after darkness and in our sacred lore slays the blind Hothar (dark) and so is a herald for the approaching of Spring and the Summer Finding (Ostara): a "new awakening".
Rays of light are often called "shafts" and as a light bringer he is often depicted as a bowman firing shafts of light. He thus is also a God of love and it is likely that the "Valentine" motif of lovers being smitten by "arrows of love" is based upon the much earlier stories of Vali.
Vali's slaying of Hothar also avenges Baldur, the fairest of all the Gods. Thus He is also a deity of just vengeance (this is not to be mistaken with petty or spiteful revenge, but is a balancing and an alteration to allow this balance and harmony to come about).
He is a defender of the light and of the People of the Light and of Good. This blot is the Festival of the Family, a time to remember not only our closest family but also those who are our kindred by blood in the extended family that is the Nation of Odin...
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail!
Day of Remembrance for Oliver the Martyr
9th March
Oliver was an adherent of Odinism who persisted in organizing underground sacrifices to the Gods despite decrees by Olaf the Lawbreaker forbidding such activities.
Betrayed by an informer, he was killed by Olaf's Men while preparing for the Spring sacrifice in the village of Maerin, Norway. Many other men whose names are lost to us were killed, mutilated, or exiled for taking part in these sacrifices.
On this day we honour your memory Oliver - you will never be forgotten...
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail! OLIVER Hail!
High Feast of Ostara - Summer Finding - Lenting - Vernal Equinox
20th March
Nature constantly renews itself and the message of Summer Finding is one of REBIRTH. The new Spring has come. It is a time when new life has burst forth from the death of Winter. Humanity as part of nature can see divinity in this law of death and rebirth. It is a time of purification (many ancient customs are based on this). The eggs (of Easter) the "Easter Bunny" (Ostara's sacred hare) are symbols of new life and fertility. The Sun wheels of "hot cross buns" are symbols of the burning out of Winter. A rebirth of Summer - a time of joy and purification.
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail!
Day of Remembrance for Jarl Haakon of Norway
9th April
As ruler of the western part of the realm, Haakon restored the worship of the Old Gods and cast out the alien christ. In the process, the common folk regained political liberties which were erased under the christian yoke, and the flame of our troth burned brighter in an era of gathering gloom.
It may be that Haakon's defence of our ancestral ways helped encourage the survival of our traditions in Iceland, where they eventually became the seeds of modern day Odinism. On this day, reflect on how the actions of the individual can impact world events and the FUTURE of the NATION OF ODIN :-)
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Hail Odin! Haakon Hail!
SIGRBLOT / SUMARSDAG
20th April
Today we celebrate the first day of Summer in the old Icelandic calendar. In Iceland it had strong agricultural overtones, but elsewhere throughout the Nation of Odin, Mid-April was a time of sacrifice to ODIN for victory, called the Sigrblot...
At this time we will hold a small blot/sumble to honour our Lord Odin and to sacrifice some mead and offerings to Him and to ask of Him the victories and successes we desire for the future...
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail!
SIGURD (Festival of the Homeland)
23rd April
MONTHLY BLOT / GATHERING:
This is also the 'Day of Remembrance for Sigurd the Volsung'...
He is the consummate Germanic hero. His wooing of the valkyrie Brynhild, the winning of the treasure of the Nibelungs, and the constant theme of Odinic initiation that weaves itself throughout his story are priceless parts of our Odinist heritage, that provide endless material for contemplation and inspiration for action. A day for Sigurd the Volsung is very fitting.
Sigurd is most commonly known as a Dragon Slayer. This teaches us to remember that we have to CONFRONT LIFE'S EVILS - NOT ignore them or try to pretend they don't exist. This is a principle which should be followed on both the personal level and on the wider level of loyalty to our FOLK. We must be prepared to defend our community. We must be prepared to stand against that which is harmful, and conquer also our own faults.
There is much for us all to contemplate and learn from in this Odinist Holy Day.
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail! Hail Sigurd!!!
Frigga Blot
18th May
FRIGGA BLOT:
Today we rejoice in the warmth and splendour of Spring. This is a traditional time for a kindred campout, a blot to honour the All-Mother and thank Her for the health and vitality of the Family, Kindred and Tribe.
This is the time to honour our All-Mother and to honour all mothers too - it is a time for family and to remember those we love.
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail! Hail Frigga, All-Mother!
RAGNAR LODBROK: COMMEMORATION OF THE VIKINGS
22nd May
Once again it is RAGNAR LODBROK: Our main blot for the month...
Many of the great achievements in history, such as the climbing of Everest or the crossing of the polar regions, were due to the daring and resourcefulness of individuals or small groups.
All of us are capable of displaying similar virtues, in varying degrees, depending greatly on the development of our inner strength and self-discipline. Self-reliance at both a personal and Folk level are important to the principle of freedom - and that we may live noble lives.
On this day we celebrate action and the indomitable spirit which inspires action and keeps us going despite obstacles, physical tiredness or danger. This spirit is epitomized by the example of our viking ancestors.
This festival is named after Ragnar Lodbrok, one of the greatest of the viking leaders, a man whose audacity combined with contempt for danger and death has made his name immortal. He represents the Aryan concept of the individual as initiator, pioneer and leader. This Festival is a commemoration of the viking age and a call for us today to emulate viking courage and enterprise in our daily lives.
More than this, the Festival of Ragnar Lodbrok is a reminder to us all that we should face with courage, discipline and determination, that which the Holy Norns have decreed for us - to do our outmost with that which we have been given and to be the best that we can be.
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail! Hail Ragnar!
LINDISFARNE DAY
8th June
On this day of 793CE our Odinist Germanic ancestors from Norway and all over Scandinavia - the Vikings - raided and ransacked 'Saint' Cutherbert's monastery on 'Holy' Island because they recognized the increasing threat of Judeo-Xtianity that was spreading throughout Europe like a cancer and mercilessly destroying the Odinist religion and customs of our ancestors and forcing the beliefs of an alien religion from the Middle East upon our forefathers...
Let us honour their memory - they opposed the slave death cult from the middle east and its sick fanatical followers - and did what they could to prevent this cancer...
They stood loyal to our Lord Odin and to all our Gods - and to their ancestors. Like the 6000 martyrs murdered by the xtian dog charlemagne, they were loyal to our Gods and fought to the end to preserve our ways and our holy religion....
May these brave forebears be enjoying Valhalla now - and may we be reunited with them again when the day comes...
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail!
FESTIVAL OF BALDUR (MIDSUMMER)
21st June
This is the longest day and shortest night of the year (in our Odal lands). Now the sun begins its long decline, sliding into the darkness which will culminate six months from now at Yule. Identifying the sun with the brightness of our Lord Baldur, we celebrate in honour of both.
Perform the greeting to Sunna early in the morning, bask in Her rays later in the day. This was the traditional time for holding the Allthing in ancient times.
We celebrate the year's "coming of age", its achievement of maturity. We hail life and remember the wheel of creation. Though we know there must be a time of darkness, this we must accept for "If we do not know the dark and cold, would we love the light and warmth so dearly?"
We hail Baldur, the most beautiful of the Gods, who fell to rise again, and Nanna His partner. In them we see the promise of a bright future. Again this relates to us on a personal level, to our Folk, land and the whole of creation...
There is even more significance here to those who would recognize it. The time of darkness that comes is necessary - is wyrd - and the day will come that we have passed through it and from the joy and fulfilment that comes with Gallaldr and the return of our Lord Baldur we will look back to this the Wolf Age and the time just before the Ragnarok of this cycle to understand that it was necessary, it was in accordance with the Norns' decrees and that it finally all makes sense...
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail! Hail Baldur!
Remembrance for Unn the Deep Minded
9th July
Unn was a powerful figure from the Laxdaela Saga who emigrated to Scotland to avoid the hostility of King Harald Finehair. She established dynasties in the Orkney and Faroe Islands by carefully marrying off her granddaughters. As a settler in Iceland she continued to exhibit all those traits which were her hallmarks - a strong will, a determination to control, dignity, and a noble character. In the last days of her life, she established a mighty line by choosing one of her grandsons as her heir. She died during his wedding celebrations, presumably having accomplished her goals and worked out her orlog here in Midgard. She received a typical Nordic ship burial, surrounded by her treasure and her reputation for great deeds...
SLEIPNIR (Festival of Life)
22nd July
This festival is called by the name of Odin's eight legged horse. We call it the festival of life because it reminds us of our link to all creation and that we are part of nature - not separate.
We remember how we must return to this earlier wisdom. Our ancestors recognized this link and interdependence. Today we see how ignorance of this destroys our Holy Mother Jorth and ultimately ourselves...
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail!
STICKLESTAD DAY
29th July
Olaf the Lawbreaker ("St Olaf") was killed at the Battle of Stiklestad on this date in the year 1280 RE. Olaf acquired a reputation for killing, maiming, murdering, torturing and exiling his fellow Norwegians who would not convert to xtianity, and for keeping an army with him - in violation of the law - to help him accomplish this repression.
Today we honour the Odinist martyrs who died rather than submit to the slavery of xtianity. We also honour those Odinist warriors who brought the justice of our Gods upon the Lawbreaker.
Today is just one more reminder of the bloody and evil past these xtians have - and their 'god of peace' and their 'religion of peace' - let us never forget their crimes against the Nation of Odin - or that now is the time of the great renewal - the time when our people finally return home to the old ways and leave behind them 2000 years of judeo-xtian slavery and sickness...
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail!
FESTIVAL OF THE MIND (or 'Discovery of the Runes' - also FREYFAXI)
24th August
This festival celebrates scholarship, learning in all fields and inspiration. The power of the mind is both mythical and awesome. It reminds us of Odin's sacrifice to gain wisdom and new insight.
We strive for parallel spiritual and intellectual development - at least those of us who have left behind the mental sickness of the 2000 year old slave death cult from the Middle East called xtianity...
The Runes and the truths they present us with can be used for personal transformation, psychic development, healing and the building of the environment according to the inner will. They are a vast wisdom. This festival also reminds us of an essential truth:
THE ASSUMPTION THAT BECAUSE ALL HUMANITY IS CREATED FROM THE SAME STUFF ALL HUMANITY IS OF THE SAME VALUE AND SHOULD BE TREATED EQUALLY - IS FALSE.
Throughout history different terms have been applied to this principle - some have called it the 'Aristocratic Principle' - others have likened it to 'natural selection'. Whatever terminology you wish to use it should be self-evident that all are NOT born equal and that the universalist judeo-xtian insanity of the 'brotherhood of man' is just a particularly kosher and pseudo-religious way of dressing up cultural communist globalism and Frankfurt School social engineering at its best...
Ancient writings (including the Eddas) - and some modern - show that the differences in human qualities and capabilities have always been realized.
Today this eternal truth is not popular and has led to a desire to DRAG ALL DOWN TO THE LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR WHICH ULTIMATELY BENEFITS NO-ONE.
We hail diversity BUT let us remember, until we respect ourselves, our Folk, our Folk's achievements, uniqueness and gifts, we cannot truly respect another's.
'DIVERSITY' is not about destroying identity - it is about OUR RIGHT to MAINTAIN OUR OWN IDENTITY - to take pride in our race and culture and history - in our people - and if it is NOT so then 'diversity' is just another part of the problem.
It should be noted that this festival falls around the time that FREYFAXI was held - marking the time of the harvest in Iceland. Dedicated to Frey, it was a time for celebrations with horse races, martial sports, and of course a Blot to Frey...
It could be said that this time of the year is about TWO kinds of 'FERTILITY' then - INTELLECTUAL/SPIRITUAL and AGRICULTURAL...
At this time of the Festival of the Mind we may choose to consider where we are in terms of our own personal development as both Odinists and members of the Nation of Odin and in general where our race - our people - are heading.
Whilst Wyrd is Wyrd there is still some 'play' within the web of fate woven by the Holy Norns - and is this not a good time to consider what we ourselves are doing to contribute to the great renewal of our people and faith? Is it not also a good time to think on where we SHOULD be going both as individuals and as a Folk - and what it is that the Gods would have us do to contribute to this - for each one has a destiny to fulfill - in accordance with Wyrd and the decrees of the Holy Norns. All is Wyrd and Orlog - and to play our part in the symphony of life each instrumentalist must know the score.
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail! Hail to the Master of Runes and Magick and all the High Holy Ones on this the Festival of the Mind! :)
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail!!!
SHEDDING / WINTER FINDING / AUTUMN EQUINOX
23rd September
Another festival which emphasizes the wheel of nature / life. At this time (in the Northern hemisphere it is the Autumn Equinox and I follow the Northern Calendar as I feel this connects us directly back with our Odal Lands where the majority of our ancestors are buried and the lands with which we have our most ancient and pure connection as members of the Nation of Odin) the equinox reaches its fruition and a period of decline follows. We commemorate the "death of Summer" and now Winter has arrived. We must look into our hearts, assess our achievements and look to the future Spring, knowing we must endure Winter also. This is a season of fruitfulness, yet side by side with this are signs of decay.
As at Summer Finding (Spring equinox) the rhythm of life is strong, so amidst the bounty of the year is its move towards dissolution. Mankind is part of the wheel, the Sun descends as a sacrifice into darkness before beginning its ascent again on the Mother Night. With the sacrificial death of Baldur we give thankms for the year's supply of food and hope it will sustain us till the new Spring. The Corn token is presented at this Blot as a symbol of hope and continuity and our debt to Mother Earth.
The Autum Equinox: Summer and Winter balance for a moment and the cold, old man wins - for now. Brace yourself for longer nights and the onset, eventually, of the cold of Winter.
Call upon Odin AllFather for inspiration to get through your personal lean times, whenever they may strike. This is the traditional time for Fall Fest and the celebration of the harvest.
At this time many may wish to celebrate a Summer Finding Blot - to acknowledge our being here in the southern hemisphere - and I see in this much merit - so as we have done the last few times AllFather Hearth will make a combined Summer/Winter Finding ritual which ''completes the circle'' and which, each time we have made it, has been a very powerful and empowering ritual... It takes into account where we are from (our Odal lands) and where we are now (for those of us in the southern hemisphere) and is, to me, the way to go from now on...
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail!
DAY OF REMEMBRANCE FOR ERIK THE RED
8th October
Praise the stalwart founder of Greenland, and father of Leif, the founder of Vinland. Erik remained loyal to Thor even when his wife left the Gods and refused to sleep with her heathen husband. Pause in memory of Erik today, drink a toast in his honour.
DAY OF REMEMBRANCE FOR LEIF ERIKSON
9th October
Leif Erikson discovered Vinland 500 years before Columbus did - It is only fitting (I think) that the United States was discovered by an ODINIST...
Vinland - yet another part of the Odinic diaspora that on this day should be remembering their TRUE FOUNDER - not some 'Johnny come lately' who turned up five centuries later :)
Let us raise the mead horn this day in honour of Leif Erikson!!!!!
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail!
HENGIST: FESTIVAL OF SETTLEMENT (also VETRABLOT)
12th October
This is the major blot for October:
It is actually a 'double blot' because it falls within the time of the old Icelandic festival of Vetrablot (usually the satyr's day between the 11th and 17th...).
So, on this night, in additional to our rituals to honour the sacred ancestors and to commemorate settlement of the lands that we, the Nation of Odin, now find ourselves in - let us ALSO remember on this night our Lady Freyja, the Moon Disir and, once again (of course:) our sacred ancestors all...
The festival of HENGIST itself commemorates not only the settlement of our folk in Britain, but of all the other lands our folk have settled in. It hails our European homelands and our folk everywhere else (those who make up the diaspora of the Nation of Odin). It is a link between all tribal groupings of our Folk. It is a statement of our identity and calls us to be proud of our heritage...
It is a reminder that we are all, collectively, THE NATION OF ODIN...
On this day we remember how our folk brought law and justice with mercy to all the lands that they settled. It also calls to us to look again at our past in order to inspire us to ensure a future for our folk as our ancestors ensured a future for US through their blood and toil...
On this day let us be mindful of the great debt we owe to our sacred ancestors who have gone before us - and the debt we owe to THOSE YET TO COME of the Nation of Odin - and how we must strive - both individually - and collectively - against that which is harmful to the survival of our Folk and their future...
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail!
Day of Remembrance for Queen Sigrith of Sweden
9th November
When Olaf the Lawbreaker had been king of Norway for three years, he asked Queen Sigrith of Sweden to marry him. She agreed, but when he insisted that she give up the Gods, Sigrith replied, "I do not mean to abandon the faith I have led, and my kinsmen before me. Nor shall I object to your belief in the god you prefer". As usual, Heathen tolerance was met with christian imprecations and a blow to the face. the wedding was off - depriving Olaf of the political power that could have sped the christianization of Scandinavia even further. Hail Sigrith, defender of Odinism and women of stubborn virtue!
Day of Remembrance for AEthelfrith of Northumbria
11th November
In the astonishing history of our people there have been countless heroes and heroines. The names of many of these exemplars are 'household words' today. We cannot think of the glory of Ancient Greece without recalling Leonidas and his handful of Spartans, who saved Europe from an empire that had once embodied the values of our people but which did so no more. Another formerly great civilization that had formerly been a shining light of our people, but had now been subverted from within, was hurled back from northern Europe by the Germanic leader known to the defeated Romans as Arminius. Shortly afterwards, the Celtic queen known to the Romans as Boadicea came very close to expelling the multiracial empire of its day from the British Isles. Later still, heroes like the Saxon Widukind kept alive the culture and spirituality of our people in the face of Christian crusades that were European in dimension.
Yet of all the heroes of our folk, none had a clearer insight into the problems faced by our people than Aethelfrith, the Anglo-Saxon king of Odinist Northumbria. In c. 598 a grand alliance of the Christian Celtic kingdoms of Scotland and northern England attacked the Odinists at Cattraeth - and were annihilated. In c. 603 they tried again at Degsastan - with the same result. It took the Christians a long time to re-group, but by c. 615 they felt confident enough to mount a third crusade against the Odinists, at Chester. Of the crusading army, about 1250 were Christian monks from Bangor. AEthelfrith asked who they were and what they were doing, and was told they were Christian priests who had come along to pray to their god for victory over the Odinists. According to the historian Bede, "He therefore ordered them [the monks] to be attacked first", killing all but 50 of them.
AEthelfrith stood tall against the Christians, and on behalf of his and our people, for as long as he lived. He knew exactly what the challenge was, and he faced it resolutely for as long as the life remained in his breast. His inspiration will therefore never die, and to Odinists he is our "Once and Future King" - or as his Latin-speaking Christian opponents would have sad, "Rex Quondam, Rexque Futuris".
Day of Remembrance for Egil Skallagrimson
9th December
AllFather Odin was his God, and the blood of berserks and shape-shifters ran in his family. His lust for gold and for fame was insatiable. Yet the same man was passionately moved by the love of his friends and generously open-handed to those who found his favour. The same brain that seethed with war-fury also composed skaldic poetry capable of calming angry kings. Can it be by accident that Egil followed Odin, the great resolver of paradoxes and riddles? Indeed, all Odinists - those of us who follow the one-eyed God of battle and magic - and honour Him above all others - can learn much from the life of this amazing man...
On this day let us honour the memory of Egil Skallagrimson and raise the mead horn in his memory...
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail!
THE 12 NIGHTS OF YULE - WINTER SOLSTICE
20th December - 31st of December
We start with the night of the 20th which is the YULE MOTHER NIGHT or Madrenacht - sacred to AllMother Frigga - the night before the solstice...
Then on the 21st is the FEAST OF YULE/WINTER SOLSTICE - sacred to AllFather Odin...
This celebrates the Winter Solstice when the sun, having descended into dark, seems to be ''re-born'' and begins its ascent again. The end of one cycle, the beginning of a new. A night to honour rebirth and mothers, and to celebrate the hope and joy new birth brings. It is the first night of Yule (from the old English hweol = wheel). Eleven more nights of festivity follow encapsulating the twelve months of the year. Within these twelve nights, the cosmic spirit of the multiverse seems especially close as end and beginning, death and rebirth, merge.
At this time especially, the concentrated essence of the divine and earthly elements are held within the twelve nights. There are many customs surrounding this festive period and virtually all those still common today are based on Odinist practices; the Yule candles and Yule wheels (Yule logs), the evergreen decorations, the so-called ''x-mas trees'' (symbols of Yggdrasil), the feasting, exchange of gifts, and so on.
It is a time for comradeship and hope. The Wheel has turned full circle: a new cycle begins. As the night before the Winter Solstice, this is the time when the New Year is born. We honour the beginning of the Sun's return and the breaking of Winter's spell. This is a time to honour Thor and Frey, and celebrate by drinking a toast to them. Have a Yule party with family and kindred. Decorate a tree with the sun wheel and light a Yule Log.
For many there will be many different approaches to celebrating the entire 12 nights - for me personally, on each of the nights of Yule I will also focus in ritual and rite upon the individual months (and related blots) that each of the 12 nights symbolically stands for...
THEN - on the night of the 31st of DECEMBER - YULE TWELFTH NIGHT - we will conclude the festivities - having reflected for 12 nights on the year past, taken stock and considered our purpose and direction for the year ahead and the future in general...
At this time let us also make new year's resolutions in the old way by swearing our oaths on our hammers or upon the oath ring of our hearth or kindred...
I wish you all my brothers and sisters a WONDERFUL YULE and may our Gods bless and be with you always for the year to come.
Hail our Gods! Hail our Folk! Odin Hail!
YULE TWELVTH NIGHT
Dec 31st – Jan 1st
This concludes the traditional twelve days of Yule. Each day of which is a month of the preceding year in miniature. Reflect on the past year. Take stock and lay a course for the future. Make New Year's resolutions in the old way by swearing your oath on Frey's boar or on your Hammer.
